Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The tariff for the collection and disposal of solid household waste for the population is increasing in Tashkent.

According to the decision of the City Council of People's Deputies of Tashkent, the tariff for the disposal of household waste per inhabitant per month will increase from 4,500 to 7,500 soums.

For budgetary and non-budgetary organizations, the tariff for the disposal of 1 cubic meter of solid household waste will be 89,977.57 soums without VAT (currently 53,986.56 soums).

Services for the disposal of impurities will cost 188,808.96 soums without VAT per ton (currently 20,174.12 soums).

Tariffs for the disposal of solid household waste from waste transfer stations have also been increased.

The last tariff change in Tashkent occurred in February 2019 when the tariffs were raised from 3,900 to 4,500 soums per person per month.
