Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The departure lounge’s "sterile" zone at Tashkent International Airport has been expanded by an additional 2,000 square meters. The new space is located on the left side of the waiting area, adjacent to the Art Bazaar.

The project includes a spacious waiting area with seating and the development of a food court. Following auctions on the E-auksion.uz platform, contracts were signed with two companies. One will introduce The Border by Teriyaki, while the other will bring together four brands: Hardee’s, Pizza Hut, La Croissanterie, and Pinkberry.

Construction of the restaurants is set to begin shortly. Currently, the areas designated for the food court are hidden behind banners featuring the logos of the brands that will soon operate there. A coffee corner by the well-known chain Caffelito has already been installed in this part of the lounge, offering passengers hot and cold drinks, desserts, and fresh pastries.

The construction of the additional area has connected the main departure hall with boarding gates B5-B6-B7. Future plans include the creation of a separate gallery and access to the lower gates, which will help separate the flow of arriving and departing passengers.
