Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 February, representatives of the Vitebsk and Kashkadarya regions held negotiations in Uzbekistan, where they reached agreements on cooperation in the fields of oncology, pediatric surgery, transplantology and endocrinology.

According to Belta, issues of economics, healthcare, tourism, information technology and sports were discussed. Representatives of the Vitebsk region also visited the mother and child center, cardiology and oncology centers.

The delegation of the Vitebsk region is participating in the II Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan in Tashkent, where it is planned to sign several bilateral documents, including road maps between the Vitebsk, Kashkadarya and Namangan regions for 2024-2025.

Before the visa, the delegation gets acquainted with the potential of the sister regions: headed by the deputy chairman of the regional executive committee, Angelika Nikitina, visits the Kashkadarya region, and under the leadership of the chairman of the economics committee of the regional executive committee, Veronica Zabolueva, visits the Namangan region.
