Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A thematic action “Do you know Uzbekistan or Bukhara?” was held in New York, aimed at popularizing and promoting the national tourism brand of our country in the USA, Dunyo news agency reported.
The action was a video survey of visitors to the Central Park of New York, conducted by bloggers-reporters, on the subject of awareness of visitors and residents of the American metropolis about Uzbekistan, in particular the city of Bukhara, its geographical location and attractions, history and spiritual heritage, culture and art of the Uzbek people.
Interviewees, familiar and unfamiliar with our country, were provided with detailed information about Uzbekistan and its huge tourism potential. Souvenirs from Bukhara, brochures “10 Reasons to Visit Uzbekistan”, and specially prepared instructions in the form of a business card for issuing an electronic entry visa to Uzbekistan became a pleasant encouragement to the conversation.
The action aroused great interest among the public of New York. Posted on social networks “Facebook”, “Instagram”, “Telegram” and on the video-hosting site “YouTube” the video plot gained a large number of views.
According to the interviewees, the holding of such actions will undoubtedly contribute to increasing the recognition of the republic among the foreign public.
