Welcoming the guests, Minister of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan Tursunali Kuziev noted that great respect of the Uzbek people to Vietnam, fruitful result of contacts in economy, culture, science and other directions.

He noted that soon Vietnam Culture Days will be held in Uzbekistan, which will be dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two states and the 21th anniversary of independence of Uzbekistan. On 6 September, Tashkent will host a concert of art masters of Vietnam.

Ngo Thi Doan Than expressed his gratitude for warm reception and wished new successes to the Uzbek people, culture and art workers of Uzbekistan. He expressed hope that relations between Tashkent and Hanoi will develop further.
