Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas will visit Uzbekistan on a working visit.

According to the EU delegation to Uzbekistan, Margaritis Schinas will arrive in Uzbekistan on 16 January 2024.

During the visit, the representative of the European Commission will hold meetings with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojaev and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov.

Margaritis Schinas will also visit other countries in the Central Asian region.

The visit will take place on the eve of the Europe-Central Asia Investor Forum, which will be held in Brussels on 29-30 January.
