Information about new models of smartphone was posted at official website of the company. The enterprise launched production of smartphones UZTE Grand X Quad and UZTE Grand X II.

The smartphone UZTE Grand X Quad has five inch display with the resolution 540x960 pixels. The phone has four core processor MT6589/MT6167 with frequency 1.2 GHz.

The main camera of UZTE Grand X Quad has 8 megapixel and records HD video. The maximal resolution of images is 2592x1944 pixels and videos – 1280x720 pixels.

The handset gas 1 Gb Ram and internal memory – 4 Gb. The handset also has 4 Gb microSD card. The phone’s memory can be extended up to 32 Gb.

UZTE Grand X Quad works in such networks as GSM (850/900 MHz), UMTS (850/900 MHz). The speed of HSDPA is 21 Mbps and HSUPA – 11.5 Mbps.

The device can be used as access point Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n). The smartphone works under Android 4.2 operating system.

The second handset UZTE Grand X II has 4.5 inch sensor TTF display with the resolution of 540x960 pixels. It is equipped with four core processor MSM8225Q with frequency of 1.2 GHz.

The smartphone has two cameras – main camera with 8 megapixels and frontal – 0.3 megapixels. The phone records VGA video.

The smartphone has 512 Mb RAM and internal memory – 4Gb. The smartphone package has 4G microSD card. The memory can be extended up to 32 Gb.

Grand X II works in such networks as GSM (850/900 Mhz), UMTS (850/900 Mhz). The speed of HSDPA network is 21 Mbps and HSUPA – 11.5 Mbps.

The handset can be used as access point Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n). The smartphone works under Android 4.1 operating system.

Pengzhong Xingsheng launched production of mobile handsets and its accessories in Syrdarya region of Uzbekistan in July 2013. The venture currently produces three models of smartphones – Grand V (V790), Grand M (V889M) and Grand X (V970).

The cost of the project was US$3.16 million. The project initiators are ZTE (H.K.) Limited and Peng Sheng LLC. They created joint venture Pengzhong Xingsheng on a parity basis to implement the project.

The capacity of the plant is 100,000 applications a year. It is expected that 10% of product will be imported and the localization level will make up 30%.
