Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the invitation of the Institute of Foreign Trade of the Kingdom of Spain (ICEX), a delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of Uzsuvtaminot JSC is in the city of Madrid.

According to this proposal, on 15 April, a meeting was held with the Director General of the Department of Foreign Trade and Investment of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Business of Spain, Alicia Varela.

During the event, attention was paid to the work carried out by the government of Uzbekistan in the field of improving drinking water supply and sanitation.

It was also emphasized that 250 million euros have been allocated for the implementation of projects, in particular projects in the field of drinking water supply and sanitation in Uzbekistan, as well as grant funds for the development of a feasibility study (feasibility study) of PPP projects with the participation of Spanish companies.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on the joint development of projects in the Samarkand region and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
