The average size of deal in the reporting period made up 97.94 million soums against 4.97 million soums in previous week. The highest ratio of price to par value was observed in consumer goods production sector (1.3).

The highest volume of turnover was observed in financial service sector, which attained 93.6% of total turnover in the reporting period. During the reporting period, the deals were carried out with shares of enterprises in 8 regions of Uzbekistan.

Total turnover of the UzSE comprised 44.819 billion soums in 2009. Overall 5,060 deals with 147.54 million shares were recorded in 2009.

IPO market turnover comprised 12.6 billion soums (28.2% of total turnover) and the secondary market - 32.2 billion soums (71.8%).

Shares of enterprises in Tashkent city were popular among investors as 72.2% of all carried out deals or 32.377 billion soums fell to their share. Tashkent region and Kashkadarya region followed Tashkent city.
