Uzpromstroybank to raise charter capital by 8bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzpromstroybank open joint stock commercial bank, one of the largest commercial banks of Uzbekistan, will increase its charter capital by 8 billion soums to 118 billion soums.

The Center for coordination and control over functioning of securities market registered new emission of shares of Uzpromstroybank on 17 May 2010.

In line with the emission, the bank will issue 50 million shares, of which 48 million will be ordinary shares and 2 million preferential shares. The par value of shares will be 2,360 soums.

Total volume of the emission of ordinary shares will make up 113.28 billion soums and preferential shares – 4.72 billion soums.

According to the emission, old shares of the bank with the par value of 2,200 soums will be replaced with new shares with nominal value of 2,360 soums. The bank said the charter capital for 110 billion soums is paid. Other 8 billion soums will be formed due to undistributed income for previous years.
