Uzpromstroybank issues 448.6bn soums to small businesses

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Joint stock commercial bank Uzpromstroybank issued loans for 448.6 billion soums to small and private businesses in eight months of 2014, which rose by 1.3 times year-on-year.

The bank said that allocated loans helped to create about 8,000 new jobs.

In 2014, the bank is planning to increase allocation of loans to small businesses by 158.1 billion soums.
