Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 June, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will visit this country on an official visit.

On the eve of the visit, the Uzbek-Turkish business forum was held at the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov and Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yılmaz.

As part of the event between Uzpromstroybank and one of the largest private banks in Türkiye, known for its innovative and fintech products - Aktif Yatirim Bankasi A.S. A cooperation agreement was signed to raise funds for a total amount of US$40 million.

The funds will be used to finance trade and support small and medium-sized businesses.

In addition, an agreement was reached on the opening of a correspondent current account by Uzpromstroybank with Aktif Yatirim Bankasi A.S. in order to create conditions and convenience for mutual payments between business partners of Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
