Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzpromstroybank signed agreements with partners from Turkey for a total amount of US$130 million, the bank’s press service reports.

The documents were signed during the Uzbek-Turkish business forum and the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, which were held on 25-26 December in Ankara,

At a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission in Ankara, Uzpromstroybank entered into a cooperation agreement with the Turkish Exim Bank.

This agreement stipulates the attraction of a credit line in the amount of US$60 million to finance investment projects in Uzbekistan.

In addition, as part of the business forum, a cooperation agreement was reached for 2024 with the Turkish office of Citibank A.S., including attracting a credit line in the amount of US$70 million.

The funds raised will be used to finance trade and investment projects of medium and small businesses in Uzbekistan, as well as to implement new projects in the construction materials and electrical engineering industries.
