Uzprommashimpeks to increase charter capital to 3.63bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The state joint-stock foreign trade company Uzprommashimpeks will increase its charter capital up to 3.63 billion soums.

The decision of the company on issuing shares was registered by the Center for securities market of Uzbekistan in the late January 2011.

In line with the prospectus of emission, the company will issue 50,000 ordinary shares with par value of 72,600 soums each. Total volume of emission is 3.63 billion soums.

The shares of the emission will be placed on closed subscription among shareholders through replacement of shares with par value of 46,000 soums to new ones with nominal value of 72,600 soums.

The company said that the part of shares for 2.3 billion soums were paid on par value and other part for 1.33 billion soums will be paid due to net income of the company for 2009.

The state joint-stock foreign trade company Uzprommashimpeks started its activity in 1 January 1991 and operating in system of Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The company specializes in export of industrial and agricultural products, cotton-fibre and, as well as, in import of the different kind of techniques, technological equipment and other goods. The company’s website said that its annual turnover is nearly US$500 million and the geography of trade activity comprises more than 35 countries.
