Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — UZPLATINUM, a resident of the Chirchiq Chemical Industrial Technopark and a joint venture under the umbrella of JSC Uzkimyosanoat, has completed its first delivery of catalytic systems to the domestic market.

The initial batch was shipped to JV Continaz LLC, where the catalytic systems will be used in a new production facility for hydrocyanic acid.

UZPLATINUM is the only enterprise in Uzbekistan and the CIS (excluding the Russian Federation) specializing in the production of catalytic systems based on platinum group metals. Its products are in demand in the chemical, oil refining, and petrochemical industries.

The company is actively expanding sales of its proprietary products. To date, it has signed two offtake agreements with Uzbek firms for raw material processing and regular supply of catalytic systems.

In the short term, UZPLATINUM plans to conclude long-term contracts with two domestic nitrogen fertilizer plants, which will enable the company to fully meet internal demand and begin expanding into foreign markets.

By strengthening its position in the industry, UZPLATINUM continues to widen its cooperation horizons and offer new opportunities for its partners.
