The company increased steel output by 6.2% year-on-year to 716,400 tonnes in the reporting period. The company supplied 687,100 tonnes of ready rolled metal to customers, which is up 6.9% year-on-year.

Output of rolled ferrous metals made up 687,100 tonnes compared to forecasted 650,000 tonnes in 2009. In particular, the company produced 158,400 tonnes of milled balls compared to forecasted figure of 160,000 tonnes.

The company manufactured consumer goods for 16.7 billion soums, which is up 78% to forecast. The growth rate made up 8.4%.

Uzmetkombinat carries out regular work on search of new markets for its products. In 2009, Kyrgyz Republic received rolled ferrous metals, cinder of roll products, slag from steel-smelting production. The company supplied brass roll to Iran and steel dishes and ferrous metal to Turkmenistan.

The company produced 125,230 tonnes of localized products for 104.330 billion soums, which is up 19.3% compared to forecast.
