Members of the UzLiDeP faction at the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, territorial departments of state tax and customs committees, farmers and businesses participated at the event.

The event focused on implementation of tasks, outlined in the presidential decree “On additional measures on further improving investment climate and business environment in Uzbekistan” and resolution “On measures on further improving procedures, related to conducting business activities and presenting state services”.

Member of UzLiDeP faction at the Legislative Chamber Klara Jumamuratova said that the programme, approved by the decree, is directed at improving and simplifying tax system. She said that the decree also prolonged moratorium for inspection of enterprises till 1 January 2017.

The presidential decision also abolished banking fee, which was earlier levied at payment of taxes and other mandatory payments to the state budget of Uzbekistan. Now, the state tax bodies cannot suspend operations of the business entities with their accounts without decision of the court if the businesses fail to submit tax reports in time.

At the event, the participants developed recommendations on further improving business environment and interaction of corresponding bodies in this direction.
