Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 September 2015 a regular meeting of the faction of the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen - Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan was held at the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan OliyMajlis, where the report of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the results of execution of the State budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the first half of 2015 was considered. It was attended by members of the faction, experts and specialists, representatives of the mass media.

As was underlined at the meeting, the most important priorities of economic program for 2015 outlined in the report of the President Islam Karimov at the meeting on January 16, of the current year contributed to the maintaining of positive dynamics of the main macroeconomic parameters and creating a solid basis for further balanced development of industries and sectors of the economy of our country in the first half of this year.

In particular, the growth of GDP of the country by the results of the first half of 2015 comprised 8.1%,inflation rate did not exceed the forecast parameters. The further strengthening of macroeconomic stability andeconomic growth have been achievedby increasing the volume of industrial production - 8.1 percent, agricultural production – 6.5 percent and retail trade turnover - 14.8 percent.

Thanks to the system of measures for the employment of the population in the first half of 2015, 441.8 thousands of jobs, among them 274.9 thousands of jobs (62.2 per cent of total) in rural areas were created.

It was especially noted that the focus on the expenditure side of the state budget was given to the social sphere. This played an important role in the development of science, education, culture and sports, targeted social support of the population, the timely funding of salaries, pensions, scholarships, allowances and other priority payments, treasury execution and ensuring the effectiveness of the budget.

Measures on diversification of the export structure and full support of exporting companies, as well as, as a result of active development of new foreign markets of sales in the past year, 493 new enterprises, especially small businesses were involved into an export activity. The foreign trade balance amounted to 485 million dollars surplus.As a result of the localization of production during the last 6 months have produced 585 new products and organized more than 7.5 thousand service objects and service.

However, the deputies noted that some budgetary organization is not correctly used budget funds due to non-compliance with payment discipline.

During the discussion, members of the faction made practical proposals and suggestions on the proper use of funds from the State budgetand at the end of the meeting thecorresponding decisions of UzLiDeP faction on the discussed issues were taken.
