In particular, the enterprises produced 557,000 tonnes of mineral fertilizers (forecast executed with 0.7% surplus), including 482,299 tonnes of nitric fertilizers and 74,300 tonnes of phosphatic fertilizers.

Forecast on exports of goods, which is expanding due to expansion and diversification of sales markets and new chemical products, fulfilled with 1.6% surplus, the company said.

The industry started to export such chemical products as A grade methanol, phosphatic ammonium nitrate, plastic pipes, and others. In the second half, the Uzbek chemical industry will start to export potash fertilizer, which will expand export volume.

The industry produced 69.22 billion soums of localized products (forecast fulfilled with 3.9% surplus) in the reporting period. The industry used capital investments for 24.3 billion soums (forecast fulfilled with 12.9% surplus).

In the first half of 2010, Ammofos-Maxam carried out project on reconstruction of sulphuric acid shop, while Maxam-Chirchiq reconstructed capacities on production of ammonium nitrate of low density. Navoiazot and South Korea’s ISU Engineering working on reconstruction of capacities on production of polyvinylchloride (PVC), chlorine and hydrate of sodium based on acetylene. At the same time, the project on development and introduction of granulation of ammonium nitrate with adding phosphoric raw material at Navoiazot was completed.

The enterprises of Uzkimyosanot started to produce phosphatic ammonium nitrate, A grade methanol, catalysts for ammonia production, carbamide- ammonium nitrate, sodium phosphate, carboxymethyl cellulose. The enterprises produced these new products for 7.77 billion soums.

In line with innovation programme of Uzkimyosanoat, the enterprises of the enterprise started to produce sodium nitrate and potassium nitrate.

Within the cooperation exchange, the enterprises purchased products for 33.5 billion soums. In the reporting period, 1,726 new jobs were created in the industry, of which 284 – outworks.
