The company said that the new route will be launched within the project Great Silk Road.

The train will run between two cities once a week. It will leave Bukhara at 20:55 on Wednesdays and Urgench at 21:30 on Thursday from 5 May 2011.

The train has one VIP cars for 8 persons, two SV cars for 18 persons, four sleeping cars for 36 persons and restaurant car.

Launch of railway communication between Bukhara and Urgench will create convenience for tourists and help to increase tourism inflow to Uzbekistan, as well as develop railway tours.
