Uzinfoinvest, Polish Foreign Investments Agency sign memo
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzinfoinvest Information Support and Foreign Investments Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan and Polish Information and Foreign Investments Agency and Polish Information and Foreign Investments Agency had signed a memorandum of understanding.

The document was signed in the result of the meeting of the Uzbek-Polish Intergovernmental committee of economic cooperation, which was held in Warsaw, Poland, on 17 November, Uzinfoinvest said on 21 November. The agency did not elaborate on details of the memorandum.

Uzinfoinvest was established by the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov in February 2007 with the primary purpose of providing a one-stop informational and all other possible support to foreign investors in Uzbekistan.

Agency is an independent institution (legal entity) under the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade.

The Uzinfoinvest agency is responsible for informational support of foreign investors, provision them with information on prospective projects and investment legislation, including on guarantees and incentives while implementing investment projects in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ), helps investors to enter the Polish market and find the best ways to utilise the possibilities available to them. The agency guides investors through all the essential administrative and legal procedures that involve a project; also supports firms that are already active in Poland. The agency provides rapid access to the complex information relating to legal and business matters regarding the investments, helps in finding the appropriate partners and suppliers, together with new locations.

PAIiIZ’s mission is also to create a positive image of Poland across the world, promoting Polish goods and services.
