Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Starting from 10 January 2023, natural gas consumption has increased sharply as a result of a sharp drop in air temperature in all regions of Uzbekistan, UzGasTrade said in a statement.

For the purpose of uninterrupted supply of natural gas to the population, socially significant facilities and boiler houses, the supply of natural gas is temporarily suspended, regardless of the form of ownership, to any wholesale consumers of natural gas in the country, in particular, CNG filling stations, manufacturers of building materials, as well as to enterprises-buyers of UzGasTrade JSC, which are directly connected to the main gas pipelines and gas distribution stations by concluding an agreement.

Gas supply to these enterprises will be restored with an increase in air temperature and the creation of favorable conditions, which will be reported separately.
