Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During an official working trip to China, a delegation led by Mirziyod Yunusov, Chairman of the Association Uzeltekhsanoat, participated in the Shanghai International Display Innovation Expo 2025 — one of the world’s leading platforms showcasing cutting-edge technologies and cooperation opportunities in the field of display development.

During the visit, representatives of the Uzbek delegation met with the leadership of the China Optoelectronic Industry Association (KODA) and other participants in the optoelectronics sector. The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and presented proposals for organizing display panel production in Uzbekistan.

Preliminary negotiations were also held with leading display and electronic component manufacturers TCL and HKC. The discussions focused on possibilities for investment projects, technology transfer, and localization of production.

The visit is expected to be an important step for the development of the country’s electrotechnical industry, facilitating the creation of high value-added manufacturing, boosting export potential, and creating new jobs.
