Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chairman of the Uzeltekhsanoat Association, Mirziyod Yunusov, held talks with Jérôme Boyet, Managing Director for Western and Central Asia at the French company Alstom.

The parties discussed the development of Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering industry, the investment climate in the sector, and prospects for international cooperation.

Mirziyod Yunusov presented Alstom with proposals for the efficient utilization of existing opportunities and the implementation of joint projects.

Alstom is a global leader in railway transport and electric propulsion systems, specializing in the development of innovative locomotives, electric trains, and transportation technologies.

The meeting is expected to contribute to expanding bilateral relations, introducing advanced technologies, and ensuring the sustainable development of Uzbekistan’s electrical engineering sector.
