UzA reported that the volume of consumer goods production made up 254 billion soums. The companies increased exports of goods by 26% in 2012 compared to 2011.

Last year, Uzeltehsanoat worked on implementation of 48% of production localization at 14 enterprises. The companies of the Association produced localized goods for 316.4 billion soums in 2012.

In 2012, Eko Elektron started production new models of gas stoves, Neo Sun Light – air conditioners on Midea technologies and microwave ovens under Samsung brand, White Machine Technology- vacuum cleaners, etc.

Andijankabel, Uzkabel, and Deutsche kabel AG Taschkent expanded production of cable and wire products. The enterprises also launches production of high demanded products such as LAN-cables, cables and wire products.

Within the investment programme for 2012, Uzeltehsanoat implemented 16 invetsment projects for US4140.1 million. In particular, White Machine Technology launched production of LCD TV sets within the project for US$4.5 million.

Infinity Electronics launched production of mobile handsets under Artel brand. The company produces two smartphones Adi5 and Komi3 and three handsets - U30, H20 and D83. The capacity of the plant is 2 million units of handsets a year. In 2013, it is planned to produce 500,000 handsets. In future, the enterprise plans to start production new models of mobile phones.
