Uzelektroapparat-Elektroshield to pay 880 soums of dividends for 2010
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzelektroapparat-Elektroshield, an Uzbek-Russian joint venture in form of open joint stock company, decided to direct main part of its net income for 2010 to re-equipment and increasing turnover funds.

As reported earlier, Uzelektroapparat-Elektroshield received net income for 8.21 billion soums in 2010 against 2.77 billion soums in 2009.

In line with the shareholders’ decision, the company will direct 7.671 billion soums to re-equipment and increasing turnover funds.

The shareholders issued 436.618 million soums to payment of dividends and 100 million soums to reimburse expenses of Supervisory Council of the enterprise.

The company will pay 880 soums per ordinary share. Total number of shares, on which dividends are paid, makes up 496,157.

History of Uzelektroapparat-Elektroshield starts from 1941, when Elektrostanok has been evacuated from Kharkov to Tashkent. In 1946, Elektrostanok and Tokov Vysokoy Chastoti has been merged to Tashkent Electrotechnical Plant.

Tashkent Electrotechnical Plant has been reorganized into Tashelektroapparat JV and Uzelektroapparat JV OJSC in 2000. These two enterprises entered to the Elektroshit TM Samara Group under the name of Uzelektroapparat-Elektroshield.

The enterprise produces electrotechnical equipment and offers its services on designing electrotechnical part of projects, etc.
