Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 September, 2023, UzCLAAS Agro held the first large-scale field event for farmers of Uzbekistan with a demonstration of CLAAS equipment, as well as the presentation of new products - the CLAAS DOMINATOR 370 combine harvester with a CORIO 670 header for corn harvesting.

More than 90 representatives of the republic’s farms gathered to look at modern CLAAS agricultural machinery in action on the fields of AGROVER LLC (Tashkent region, Urtachirchik district). However, the Field Day program, of course, was not limited to just one demonstration of technology. After the grand opening of the event, the leading expert from CLAAS Central ACADEMY (Germany) Sergey Butov held an educational seminar on the presented technology. Within its framework, attention was paid to both the capabilities and advantages of CLAAS tractors, using the example of the ARION 630C and AXOS 340 models, as well as to equipment for harvesting feed. In particular, the MARKANT 650 square baler was demonstrated, which is extremely popular among all Uzbek farmers. The topic of grain harvesting was also touched upon, as well as the latest CLAAS innovations in this area: the DOMINATOR 260 and DOMINATOR 370 combines. The first is a classic push-button combine with a 205 hp Perkins engine and a 5800 l hopper, and the second is a hybrid model. It has the same engine and hopper, but instead of a five-key straw walker, it uses a large rotor with a diameter of 570 mm for residual grain removal. Thanks to this and a number of other options, the DOMINATOR 370 is more productive and efficient, especially when harvesting corn for grain.

This fact was confirmed by the presentation-seminar, when DOMINATOR 370 with a six-row corn header CORIO 670 was sent to harvest this crop. It took less than 10 minutes to completely fill the bunker with a yield of up to 140 c/ha. One such machine can remove up to 25 hectares per shift. This data was provided by the chief engineer of AGROVER LLC, Timur Rashidovich Halmukhamedov. Along with high productivity, the farm is also pleased with the low level of losses - about 0.5% and the quality of both threshing and unloading. The grains are not crushed.

After the show, those interested had the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual consultations on the presented line of CLAAS equipment.

Uz CLAAS Agro specialists will continue to conduct a similar format of open communication, introducing farmers to modern CLAAS technologies and visual demonstrations of equipment in action, including as part of an educational program. Thus, in the republic, from 22 September 2023, special seminars will start in the Fergana, Andijan and Namangan regions, where CLAAS experts will introduce the latest solutions for harvesting grain crops, will pay special attention to corn, and will also provide recommendations on the operation of CLAAS tractors.
