Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzcharmsanoa Association and the central office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting focused on achieving economic indicators in the country’s leather industry.
During the meeting, the implementation of planned economic indicators for the first nine months of 2024 was discussed, along with the progress of programs related to production, investments, and exports by the end of the year. Reports from responsible officials were reviewed, and upcoming tasks were discussed.
A roadmap was developed by the responsible parties to address the challenges faced by existing manufacturing entities in the country. This includes individualized approaches for each enterprise and on-site inspections. The resolution of these issues will be carried out in cooperation with relevant ministries and agencies.
Special attention was given to export matters. Organizational issues related to meeting export targets for the nine months and the end of the year were discussed.
An analysis of the volume of products exported by exporters to date was conducted.
The meeting also highlighted existing problems related to exports, and instructions were given to responsible officials to strengthen the discipline of execution and accountability.
