Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- UZCARD has suspended the service of Russian Mir cards. This was announced in a statement of by the payment system.

The Single Republican Processing Center stated that the participants in the system are carrying out the necessary technical procedures.

“In connection with the necessary technical procedures being carried out on the side of the participant of the UZCARD payment system, from 09:00 on 23 September 2022, the service of Mir cards in the infrastructure of the UZCARD and the operation of UZCARD-Mir co-badged cards abroad is suspended,” UZCARD notes.

On the territory of Uzbekistan, co-badged cards work as usual. Cards are accepted throughout the infrastructure of the UZCARD payment system.
