Uzbektourism warns Uzbek citizens on hazardous air in Singapore

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbektourism recommended citizens of Uzbekistan, heading to Singapore, to take into account unfavourable ecologic situation in the country, which is caused by forest fires in Sumatra and Kalimantan.

As of 25 September, air pollution in Singapore reached record levels for supervision period – 324 points on Pollutant Standards Index (PSI). It is worth to mention that the level of 100 points is harmful for health of people.

According to forecast of local meteorological service, the strong haze can stay in the country for a long period of time.
