In line with the agreement, Russian tour operator was appointed as agent of Uzbektourism in Russia. The agreement determines obligations of the sides on promotion of Uzbekistan’s tourism potential in the Russian market and increasing inflow of Russian tourists into Uzbekistan.

Evgeniy Voyko, Russian Expert on foreign policy of the Center for current politics, said: “Beautiful architecture complexes of Uzbekistan deserve to be objects tourism warship. In conjunction with famous Uzbek hospitality, development of tourism industry has all chances to become important part of Uzbekistan’s international prestige.”

He added that Uzbekistan also pays attention to develop tourism through concrete programmes, for example, through popularization of historic heritage of the Uzbek cities.

Russian tourism corporation “V Mire Fantaziy” (In Fantasy World), heading Committee of Moscow Entrepreneurs Association, successfully has been promoting Uzbekistan in Russian tourism market since 2000.

Saushkina said the mission of the Russian operator is support all events, assisting the Russians to acquaint with ancient and unique history of Uzbekistan. She said the main task of the company to attract attention of people and organize flow of tourists into Uzbekistan.
