The embassy said that the sides considered mutual beneficial cooperation in tourism sector and education system in this direction.
Hynek Pejcha handed over to the Uzbek side list of universities in the Czech Republic, which train specialists for tourism sector. Uzbekistan pays great attention to training specialists for tourism sector and the Czech Republic welcomes Uzbek students at its universities. It was noted that current specialists can improve their skills at seminars and trainings.
Both sides noted that TV programmes about Uzbekistan at the Czech television helps to increase tourists inflow between two states. Czech tourists visit Uzbekistan to prepare reports about Uzbekistan.
It was underline that the Czechs prefer individual tourism, but the group tourism is also growing.
The sides noted that only Czech Airlines, Air Baltic and Uzbekistan Airways are carrying out between Tashkent and European Union countries.
It was stated that Czech Airlines will participate at Tashkent international tourism fair, which will be held on 8-10 October 2013, to increase number of tourists’ inflow between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic.
The sides also considered issues related on improving cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic in tourism sector.
