Uzbektelecom plans to open 80 one-stop-shop sales offices in 2012
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbektelecom joint stock company is planning to launch 80 one-stop-shop sales offices across Uzbekistan in 2012, Director-General of the company Mahsum Mahmudov said on Monday.

Uzbektelecom announced about full-scale rebranding in April 2011.

UZTELECOM became a general service brand of Uzbektelecom and UZMOBILE and UZONLINE are sub-brands.

The most important element of the brand is logotype, which has stylized graphic image, characterizing communication industry. Blue color symbolizes cleanness, constancy, and intellect. UZTELECOM can be read in Uzbek, Russian and English without problems.

Under the general brand UZTELECOM and slogan – National Operator, the company renders traditional services for retail sector and full-range of services for operators in internal and international markets.

UZTELECOM sub-brands include complex of telecommunication services for corporate sector – fixed telephony, wireless and wire broadband Internet, data transfer, Virtual Private Networks, IP-telephony, IPTV, virtual office automatic switching center, videoconference, mobile communication and mobile data transfer. UZONLINE sub-brand will promote telecommunication service of new generation for retail sector – services based on IP-technologies such as IP-telephony, IPTV, universal payment cards, and others.

UZMOBILE sub-brand is designed for complex of mobile and stationary telecommunication serviced on the base of CDMA-450 standard.

Mahsum Mahmudov said that the company hopes that in the result of rebranding, the subscribers felt new quality of services. He said that the company launched new project UZONLINE in 2011 and the small businesses and citizens received more attractive tariffs on broadband internet.

He said that the project started only in August, but the company was able to decrease tariffs twice, so population can use quality broadband internet. UZONLINE project became popular and the company serves ten thousand UZONLINE subscribers across Uzbekistan.

Uzbektelecom chief said that the company launched 50 one-stop-shop sales offices across Uzbekistan in 2011.

Mahmudov said that with one-stop-shop sales offices subscribers can receive such services as telephony, broadband internet, wireless and mobile internet of CDMA-450 standard, video telephony and digital television from Uz Digital TV. He said that earlier clients of branches of Uzbektelecom had to go to various offices to receive services, now they can receive all these services, including technical support, in one place.

He said that Uzbektelecom seriously paid attention to design, technical equipment, selection and preparation of personnel at one-stop-shop sales offices. He added that the company ties to adhere to single standards on equipment of offices and service quality in all offices.

Mahsum Mahmudov underlined that Uzbektelecom plans to launch 80 more such offices across Uzbekistan. He said that the company will focus on re-organization of sales offices in regional centers and rural areas.

He said that the company launched three more one-stop-shop offices in January-February 2012, and one of which was opened at Tashkent University of Information Technologies. He said that the company plans to increase number of one-stop-shop offices to 300 units.
