Uzbektelecom starts to receive payments for its services in online regime
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbektelecom joint stock company, a national telecommunication operator of Uzbekistan, launched a new service on accepting payments for its services in online regime.

According to the company, new service is provided via its websites - www.uzonline.uz and www.uzmobile.uz.

With help of new service, the clients of Uzbektelecom can pay for fixed and mobile communication, Internet and digital television via web-interface without leaving home.

The users should have UZCARD EMV banking cards (online cards) to use the service. At the same time, they should register their mobile number at registration of the banking card with the bank as it will be used to send temporary passwords. Temporary passwords will be valid for 10 minutes.

The payment process will take less than five minute and there is no fee for transaction. After the payment, the system generates payment invoice, which could be copies or printed.

Deputy chairperson of the State Committee for Communication, Informatization and Telecommunication Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov said that Uzbektelecom became the first company, which introduced online payment in Uzbekistan.

He said that the State Committee for Communication, Informatization and Telecommunication Technologies of Uzbekistan will recommend to introduce this opportunity to other organizations as well.
