The company said that the line has been commissioned by general customer – branch Telecommunication Transport Tarmogi and general contractor – Telecominvest and sub-contractor – Jizzakh KMK and Samarkand KMK.

The company recalled that it is planned to commission 950 km of optic-fiber communication lines in Uzbekistan in 2011 and expend transport network of data transfer to regional centers.

Uzbektelecom underlined that construction of 432.45 km of optic-fiber communication lines of total 950 km were constructed so far in Uzbekistan.

In line with the investment programme, Uzbektelecom commissioned optic-fiber communication lines Toytepa-Urtasaroy with the extension of 16.464 km, RTS Qoqand with extension of 8.131 km and Jizzakh Bulungur with extension of 73.26 km.
