Uzbektelecom cuts tariffs for internet services for ISPs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbektelecom joint stock company cut tariffs for internet services (external channel) for internet service providers up to US$299.22 per 1 Mbps from 29 August 2014, the press service of the company said.

Uzbektelecom recalled that it is cutting tariffs for external channel for the third time in 2014. On 11 June, the tariffs were decreased up to US$306.04 and on 11 July it decreased to US$303.51. Now, the tariffs decreased to US$299.22 per 1 Mbps.

The company cut the tariffs for external channel five times – from US$409 in January to US$322 per 1 Mbps in December 2013.

In 2012, the company decreased prices seven times. The price fell to US$500 per 1 Mbps US$422 in November 2012.
