The government source said that the project will introduce modified filter equipment based on ceramic membrane system. Currently, oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan uses coalescence filters from non-woven fabric.
According to the source, the Institute of Energy and Automation of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan commissioned a pilot production of ceramic filters in the mode of start-up.
Pilot production of membrane filters for two compression stations of Uztransgaz and at diethylene glycol and amine treatment at Shortanneftegaz showed high efficiency of the innovative products, the source said.
Commercial development of the ultrafine membranes will allow to modernize gas and oil treatment system without its substantial reconstruction.
