Uzbekneftegaz signs a number of agreements with foreign companies in Tatarstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A working group of Uzbekneftegaz JSC took part in the Oil and Gas Chemistry - 2022 forum, which was held in Tatarstan from 31 August to 2 September.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov spoke at the event and expressed gratitude to all participants from foreign countries. In his speech, the Head of State paid special attention to decarbonization, affordable and safe energy supply, new energy routes, digitalization, which today have become a serious challenge in the global market.

Within the framework of the forum, a scientific-practical conference "The decision of the European Commission on decarbanization, in a year" was also held. The plenary opening of the conference was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Oil of Bahrain Mohammed bin Muborak, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation A. Yanovsky, heads of Sibur and Gazprom companies.

As part of the opening event, a meeting was held with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the processes of deep renewal carried out in the Republic of Uzbekistan under the leadership of the Head of State Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in particular on the transformation and digitalization in the oil and gas sector, and areas of cooperation with leading oil and gas companies of Tatarstan were discussed.

The exhibition held as part of the forum was attended by 163 companies, including Sibur, Gazprom, VINIIGAZ, Transneft, Tatneft, KMPO, Tagras, TNG-group, Tatarstan Engineering Cluster, Belneftekhim, Belshina, etc.

At a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Director for Commercial Affairs of the KMPO company I.Z. Gilyazov reviewed the status of existing contracts.

As a result of the discussions, it was decided that the Company will deliver one engine in September, and by the end of October it will deliver 4 engines, which are currently under repair.

The issue of establishing cooperation on conducting a technological audit of the technological facilities of Uzbekneftegaz JSC was also considered in order to eliminate them as soon as possible. It was agreed with KMPO to make a proposal with an official letter on the allocation of the most experienced specialists for this service.

At a meeting with the Deputy General Director of Tatneft, Chief Geologist R.R. Aflyatunov reached agreements on the implementation of small-scale gas chemical projects, geological exploration at promising fields in Uzbekistan, a gas station construction project on the territory of Uzbekistan, studying the work of a drilling center and improving the skills of personnel.

Also, within the framework of the forum, at a panel session on the general topic “Dialectics of decarbonization”, together with specialists from IGIRNIGM and the State Geological Committee, active discussions were organized on the topic of the prospects for the oil and gas wealth of the Bukhara-Khiva region.

On the second day of the forum, meetings were held with a number of partner enterprises that supply products and services to the enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

In particular, Artem Yurikov, Deputy Marketing Director of TNG-GROUP, discussed the implementation of geological prospecting, 2D and 3D seismic services in the oil and gas regions of the republic, logging and perforation work in wells.

It should be noted that in 2020, a contract was signed between this company and Uzbekneftegaz JSC for US$1.9 million to conduct geophysical surveys at 30 wells of the Ustyurt gas production department.

In September, the company’s representative office in Tashkent agreed to organize a presentation for specialists from Uzbekneftegaz JSC, which was proposed to be held as part of the events on September 15 at the Zevarda compressor station.

An agreement was also reached to revise the pricing policy of TNG Group, taking into account many years of fruitful cooperation.

As a result of the meeting, joint work was noted to improve the skills of Uzbekneftegaz specialists in model centers, to implement a pilot project on the use of modern technologies for processing and interpreting seismic data.

Also at the meeting with the Deputy Marketing Director of Kazankompressormash Yuri Oleinik, the situation with existing contracts was considered.

In January 2022, a contract was signed with the company for the supply of spare parts for a 6GTs2-380/10-37U4 compressor unit in the amount of 53.1 million rubles. At present, 30 percent of the contract has been paid and spare parts are expected to be delivered by the end of the year.

Also, in connection with the geopolitical situation in Ukraine, it was agreed within a month to prepare specific proposals for the development of repair work carried out by Sumy, the development of project documentation with the participation of Makhsusenergogaz.

As part of the tender held by Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the Company undertook to submit competitive bids for the supply of block modular compressors for the Girsan and Chulkuvar fields of the Mubarek oil and gas production department.

According to the agenda of the forum, a visit was made to the production base of PLKGROUP LLC. This company was founded in 2011 and specializes in the development and service of separator parts.

In August, the company proposed to implement a localization project on the territory of Uzbekistan, and on August 25 a meeting was held with the first deputy chairman of the board.

During the visit, a preliminary audit of the company’s production base was carried out, issues of developing large volumes of oil and gas equipment, separators for the needs of Uzbekneftegaz JSC enterprises were discussed with the head of the company Marat Akhlyamov.
