Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A positive audit report was received from the international audit company EY on the full consolidated financial statements of Uzbekneftegaz compiled for 2022 in accordance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
It should be noted that the preparation and audit of the consolidated financial statements began in early June last year.
The draft consolidated financial statements prepared by the end of March 2023 by the employees of the Accounting and Corporate Reporting Department of Uzbekneftegaz were reviewed by specialists of the EY audit company during April-May of this year.
In order to ensure the reliability of performance indicators in the financial statements prepared on the basis of IFRS, the audit company Ernst & Young presents the following expert reports:
Report on hydrocarbon reserves in the fields owned by Uzbekneftegaz, prepared by the US consulting company "DeGoliyer & MacNaughton";
Report of the international appraisal company "KPMG" on the impairment test of the actual value of fixed assets of the enterprises of the system and objects of construction in progress;
Reports on the actuarial valuation of long-term liabilities to employees of the enterprises of Uzbekneftegaz JSC by the actuarial company Actuary Service at the end of 2022.
These reports and audit reports are presented to the world’s authoritative rating agencies - "Fitch Ratings", "S&P Global Ratings" and "Moody’s", large foreign banks - "City Bank", "Mitsubishi UFC Financial Group", "JPMorgan ase & Co", " China Development Bank, Deutsche Bank, Gaprombank and others, as well as potential foreign investors, international consulting and law firms.
