Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held between Sardor Mirzaev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz, and Orzu Aliosmanuglu, Vice President of one of the largest Japanese commercial banks SMBC.

First, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz informed the representatives of the bank about the results of the society achieved in recent years, the processes of digitalization and transformation, as well as projects planned for implementation in the field. Of particular interest to the representatives of the bank were the processes of preparation for the IPO, the assignment of a long-term credit rating (BB - / stable) to Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the successful placement of Eurobonds for US$700.0 million for a period of 7 years.

Also, representatives of the bank were acquainted with the processes of natural gas production, geological work carried out by Uzbekneftegaz and the activities of the GTL plant.

In turn, representatives of SMBC Bank presented information about their work in Asia and Europe.

The Department for Financial Institutions and Debt Management reported that during the conversation, the main attention was paid to discussing the possibilities of financing various future projects of Uzbekneftegaz by the bank.

At the end of the negotiations, it was noted that Uzbekneftegaz is interested in developing cooperation with the SMBC bank, deepening the study of the regions, and further expanding relations in the field of financing joint projects.
