Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 23 December, at the Tashkent-Central railway station, the Uzbekiston Temir Yullari joint-stock company presented new passenger coaches of the reserved seat type.

It is worth noting that, by order of O’ztemiryo’lyo’lovchi JSC, 3 new reserved seat cars were produced at JSC Tashkent Plant for the Construction and Repair of Passenger Cars, with one of which the media representatives got acquainted with their own eyes. 

The updating of these moving units is being implemented in order to create greater comfort for passengers, further develop domestic tourism and increase the tourism potential of our country, as well as to fully meet the requirements of our compatriots and foreign tourists for railway routes.

- In a short time, the joint-stock company "Tashkent Plant for the Construction and Repair of Passenger Cars" (JSC "TVSRZ"), in accordance with modern requirements, modernized and put into operation 20 second-class carriages, - says the head of the department of O’ztemiryo’lyo’lovchi Fozil Sharipov. - To date, according to the developed program for the next 2 years, work is underway to modernize another 300 passenger cars.

At the same time, the management of O’ztemiryo’lyo’lovchi defined goals and objectives for the development of the industry in the future. In particular, the implementation of technical repairs of passenger cars in the shortest possible time, the creation of a working group of marketing specialists who will study the wishes and needs of passengers, it is also planned to increase services along the train route, attaching restaurant cars in all directions of trains, control over the sanitary and hygienic condition of the passenger train, as well as the preparation of conductors.

It should be noted that the updated model of the reserved seat car differs markedly from its predecessors. Each seat here is equipped with a special curtain that you can close and turn your shelf into a capsule closed from other passengers. To control the temperature inside the car, electronic remote control panels are installed, equipped with an air conditioning system. For the purpose of internal heating, two different systems are installed, the first is heating using electric current, and the second is heating with another type of fuel. In all compartments of the car, including the side ones, there are sockets designed for 220 V, as well as USB ports. Soft backs appeared on the lower shelves. A step has been modernized for climbing to the upper shelves. Now the footboard no longer protrudes into the aisle, but is inscribed in a metal frame that acts as a support for the upper shelf. The number of seats in the reserved seat car remained the same - 54 seats.

“These cars are produced in our country as part of the localization program,” says Ravshan Bakhadirov, chief technologist at the Tashkent Carriage Building and Repair Plant JSC. “Our plant annually produces more than 50 new passenger cars, and 20-25 passenger cars are repaired and put into operation every month.
