Uzbekistan’s “Uzaeronavigation” Becomes First in Central Asia to Receive Green ATM Accreditation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the “Uzaeronavigation” Center under the Ministry of Transport participated in a meeting of air navigation service providers of the Eurasian region, held within the framework of CANSO Eurasia in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The event focused on strengthening multilateral cooperation aimed at improving the safety and efficiency of air transport in the region.

Special attention was given to the introduction of innovative solutions and the adoption of sustainable development principles in the field of air navigation.

As a result of the meeting, “Uzaeronavigation” was awarded a Level 1 accreditation certificate under the global Green ATM initiative. It is worth noting that only 12 countries worldwide have received such recognition, and Uzbekistan is now among them.

This accreditation highlights the country’s commitment to environmentally sustainable development and the active implementation of green technologies in its transport system, demonstrating alignment of national priorities with global sustainability trends.
