Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 23 October 2024, a delegation from Uzbekistan participated in the 9th Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo 2024 (FITCE) in Miami, USA.

At the expo, Uzbekistan showcased its rich tourism potential, demonstrating that it is ready to become one of the leading tourist destinations.

Umid Shadiev, Chairman of the Tourism Committee, spoke at the official opening ceremony of the exhibition, where he highlighted Uzbekistan’s tourist attractions, rich history, and culture to the participants.

U.S. entrepreneurs were provided with information about the extensive efforts being made to develop tourism infrastructure, attract investments, and promote the export of tourism services.

As part of the expo, Uzbekistan’s national tourism and craftsmanship were presented, and meetings between business representatives from both countries were organized, enabling new business connections and opening opportunities for cooperation.

Uzbekistan’s participation in FITCE not only highlights the country’s tourism potential but also represents an important step toward strengthening international cooperation in the tourism sector and attracting new investments for the development of Uzbekistan’s tourism industry.
