Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An ambassador of the tourist brand of the Republic of Uzbekistan in South Korea, an actress who played the role of Jang-geum in the popular television series Pearl of the Palace, Lee Young-ae sent a video message to the Uzbek people.

In it, she expresses words of support as part of efforts to overcome the consequences of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the emergency in Syrdarya region due to the breakthrough of the dam of the Sardoba reservoir, said Aziz Abdukhakimov, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

“Dear residents of Uzbekistan! I wish you never to lose hope and always find strength to overcome all difficulties. The main message of the series “Saimdang, Memoir of Colors”, which will soon be presented to the audience of Uzbekistan, is that, in spite of any difficulties, one cannot lose hope and courage. And I hope that this statement will be close to you, dear Uzbeks! For my part, with all my heart I wish to go to Uzbekistan as soon as possible and meet with you!”, the statement says.
