Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  On 10 December 2024, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held talks with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Rosalba Lo Bué Antico.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation were discussed. Despite a fourfold increase in mutual trade volumes in the first ten months of this year, both parties emphasized the need to intensify efforts to unlock the full potential of their partnership.

The discussions delved into opportunities for expanding trade relations and implementing joint investment projects aimed at both domestic and international markets. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to providing comprehensive support for promising initiatives that would benefit both countries.

Special attention was given to priority areas such as the textile industry, transportation and logistics, industrial cooperation in manufacturing essential goods, and trade.

Ambassador Rosalba Lo Bué Antico praised Uzbekistan’s favorable investment climate, highlighting its appeal even to the most cautious investors. She assured that Venezuelan business circles would be informed about new opportunities for collaboration.

As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their commitment to deepening cooperation, agreed to hold joint events, and outlined mechanisms for effective interaction to implement the discussed projects and initiatives.
