Uzbekistan’s horse population totals 278,800
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 October 2024, the total number of horses in Uzbekistan across all types of farms amounted to 278,800, according to the Statistics Agency.
More than 194,700 horses are kept in dehkan (smallholder) and household farms.
The number of horses in farmer-owned enterprises exceeds 65,800, while agricultural organizations account for 18,300 horses.
