Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 September 2024, Uzbekistan’s gold and foreign exchange reserves have reached US$39.15 billion, according to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.
According to the regulator, Uzbekistan’s reserves increased by US$1.75 billion in August.
The volume of foreign currency assets at the end of August 2024 made up US$8.19 billion, which is US$503.1 million more compared to the beginning of August.
Uzbekistan’s gold reserves increased from US$29.16 billion to US$30.4 billion. The physical volume of gold decreased from 12.1 million troy ounces to 12 million troy ounces in August.
