Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During his visit to the Czech Republic, Olimjon Abduallaev, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, held talks with Jiří Kozak, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, and Pavel Novotný, Director of the Department for Asylum and Migration Policy at the Czech Ministry of the Interior.
The parties expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of Uzbek-Czech relations and emphasized the need to further deepen cooperation in all areas, particularly in trade and economics. They discussed the results of the business forum held in Prague on December 10, 2024, and agreed to hold the next forum in 2025.
The importance of resuming bilateral political consultations was also reaffirmed, and it was agreed that the next round would take place in Tashkent in 2025. This meeting underscores the commitment to further strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic.
