Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Poland, Amirsayid Agzamkhodjayev, presented copies of his credentials to the State Secretary of Romania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs via videoconference.
The Romanian side highlighted the high level of bilateral relations and expressed support for Uzbekistan’s reforms, emphasizing the importance of strengthening political dialogue and interparliamentary ties.
Discussions also covered prospects for economic and investment cooperation, including interregional connections.
An agreement was reached to arrange visits at various levels in 2025, including meetings of intergovernmental councils.
It is worth noting that Amirsayid Agzamkhodjayev began his duties as Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Poland in November 2023. Prior to this role, he worked in the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and served as Consul General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, a position he assumed in 2020.
