Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Nodir Ganiev, concluding his diplomatic mission in Stockholm, held a meeting with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Jan Knutsson.

According to Dunyo news agency, the Swedish diplomat highly appreciated the strengthened cooperation between Stockholm and Tashkent in recent years: Uzbekistan’s embassy was opened in Sweden, mutual visits of parliamentary representatives took place, and collaboration in healthcare, ecology, law enforcement, and analytical circles has been established.

Jan Knutsson expressed gratitude to Nodir Ganiev for his contribution to the development of political, parliamentary, economic, and cultural-humanitarian relations between the two countries, wishing him success in his future endeavors.

It is worth noting that Nodir Ganiev became the first Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Sweden, starting his diplomatic activities in October 2023. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Stockholm was opened in 2022, becoming the 36th diplomatic representation of Uzbekistan abroad.
